What’s New – April 2026

We also added improvements across survey building, raw data management, automated report setup, dashboard tables, and chart behavior.

Highlights

New Survalyzer UI Design Is Now Fully Live

License: All Users

As of April 24, 2026, Survalyzer has fully moved to the New design. The legacy interface has now been retired, completing the final step of the rollout and giving all users a consistent platform experience.

Video Rating Question Type Now Available for All Expert Users

License: Expert

The Video Rating question type is now out of beta and available to all users with an Expert license.

Survey creators can show a video to respondents and collect real-time feedback during playback using a slider. The question type now also includes default analysis in the main report wizards, so results can be reviewed faster without setting up tables manually.

Default Analysis Included in Reports

Surveys using Video Rating question type automatically include a default pivot table and line chart in all main report wizards: Basic, Expert, and Table Wizard. This provides immediate out-of-the-box analysis without manual table configuration and helps users review results faster.

License: Professional

Professional users can now use selected Raw Data Manager actions, including filtering interviews, downloading raw data, and deleting interviews directly from the dataset.

Field editing and raw data upload continue to be available for Expert users.

Dashboards

Pie Chart – Multiple Series with Single Category Support

License: Dashboard Extension

Pie Charts in Report Builder can now be created from transposed tables: with one visible category and multiple series, including segmented results.

Charts Inherit Hidden Categories from the Table

License: Dashboard Extension

When a chart is created from a table with hidden rows, the corresponding categories are now automatically hidden in the chart as well, allowing to achieve desired result faster.

Report Placeholders in Table Cell Templates

License: Dashboard Extension

Report placeholders can now also be used in table advanced cell templates. This allows users to display values such as filter variables or custom dynamic value directly in desired table cells. Please note that this option allows only for dynamic display of values, they won’t be included in table aggregators and calculation formulas.
