🚀 What’s New – February 2026

Here’s a roundup of everything released throughout February. This was a packed month with major reporting improvements, smarter distribution tools, and a lot of quality-of-life upgrades across the platform.

Beta access

💡Early Access Features Toggle in User Profile

Everyone

A new “Early Access to Beta Features” setting is now available on the user profile page. Enabling this option grants access to Beta features. Currently, two Beta features are available upon activation:

📺Video Analysis Question Type (Beta)

Expert

The Video Analysis question type enables the display of a video (e.g., a video advertisement) to respondents and measures their assessment in real time. During video playback, respondents can continuously adjust their rating using a slider.

Note: The Beta version supports the complete respondent experience and provides raw data results in JSON format (rating per second). Automated reporting for this question type is not yet available and will be released in a future update.

🔬 MaxDiff 2.0 Question Type (Beta)

Expert

The MaxDiff question type has been completely rebuilt (v2.0). The new version introduces advanced research design capabilities and improved results calculation.

Support for multiple block versions is now included, allowing for a reduced number of tasks per respondent. Results are generated using a proven page-rank algorithm that analyzes all relational data between items, rather than relying solely on best and worst counts.

During the beta phase of MaxDiff 2.0, existing MaxDiff questions will continue to function without modification.

Dashboard

📋 Copy & Paste Slots Between Reports

You can now copy and paste layout rows and slots in the Dashboard Builder using Ctrl+C / Ctrl+V. Copying within the same report reuses the existing charts and tables. Copying to a different report creates new connected elements automatically. This makes it much faster to reuse report structures across multiple reports and surveys.

📑 Survey Label Placeholders in Reports

You can now use placeholders to pull question and choices labels directly from your survey into report text elements, headings, or chart series labels. This allows to create automated survey + report templates in a much easier way. It eliminates the need to manually copy-paste label text into reports – labels update automatically if the survey wording changes.

🔍 Conditions for Column Segmentation

It was already possible to add conditions to row segmentation in tables – now you can do the same for column segmentation. This enables more complex table setups, such as filtered segmented columns alongside unfiltered benchmark columns in the same table.

📏 Fixed Table Width When All Column Widths Are Defined

Previously, when you defined widths for all columns in a table, the last column would be stretched to fill the remaining slot space. Now, tables respect the defined column widths precisely – if the total columns width is smaller than the slot, the table stays at its defined width and is center-aligned.

Expert Report & Dashboard:

⚡ Report Calculation in the Background (caching setting)

For surveys with very large datasets, reports can now be calculated in the background (asynchronously). Instead of waiting for a heavy report to load, the system processes it in the background and notifies you by email when it’s ready – significantly improving the experience for high-volume data like surveys with tens of thousands of respondents.

🤖 AI Comment Summary: Now possible to run for minimum 2 comments

Expert

The minimum number of comments required to run AI Open Comment Summary feature has been adjusted from 30 to just 2, making it available in lower count scenarios.

Surveys and distribution

🔍 Cross-Workspace Survey Search: possibility to search by Survey ID

When searching for surveys across workspaces, the Survey ID is now visible in the results table and is also included in the search index – making it faster to find a specific survey when you know its ID.

💳 Survey Credits in Panels: new dedicated column in excel members export and import to avoid mistakes when updating credits values

Community Extension

Panel import/export now supports a new Survey Credit Transaction column. When importing, this column has to be used to specify a transaction amount (positive to add, negative to deduct), while Survey Credit column will always be ignored. This makes it easier and less error-prone.

📧 Distribution: Member ID visible in Linklists and Bounce exports

• Linklist (interviews) export now includes a Member ID column, making it easier to cross-reference or update panel data after a survey.
• Bounce export also now includes the Member ID directly next to the email address.

🔗 Clickable Panel/Sample Link in Distribution Sidebar

Everyone

In the distribution sidebar, the panel or sample name is now a clickable link that takes you directly to the panel or sample editing page – saving you navigation steps when you need to make changes mid-setup.
