June 2026 Releases

What’s New – June 2026

This month brought updates across several areas of the platform, including MaxDiff availability, data retention policies, workspace anonymization, Microsoft Power Automate integration, survey test mode, matrix analysis, and dashboard filtering.

Highlights

MaxDiff 2.0 available to all Experts

License: Expert

MaxDiff 2.0 is now generally available to all Expert license users and has been renamed from “MaxDiff 2.0” to “MaxDiff”. The legacy MaxDiff question type version has been removed from the add content menu and can no longer be added to surveys.

Administration

Data retention for closed surveys: now includes manually closed and archived surveys

License: All users

The “Retention period for closed survey data” setting, available in Account Administration and Workspace Anonymization settings, now applies to all closed surveys, not only those closed automatically by a scheduled end date.

This means surveys that were manually closed or archived are now also subject to data retention. After the configured retention period (counted from the survey’s last close date), interview data will be automatically deleted.

Workspace anonymization new setting: Retention period for open comments

License: All users

A new workspace anonymization setting allows to automatically anonymize answers to open and semi-open questions of type text. This option becomes visible within workspace anonymization settings when “Inherit from account configuration” setting is turned off.

Question library: force library element to always create new section

License: Professional and above

Library elements can now be forced to always be added as new survey section, when added from survey “add content” menu. This is especially useful when one library element contains multiple survey elements inside.

Survey building

Survey test mode fix: execute Value Assignments and Scripts present at the beginning of the section when jumping to it

License: Professional and above

This is a behind-the-scenes fix for survey test mode. When jumping directly to a section, any Value Assignments or Scripts placed at the beginning of that section are now executed correctly, preventing issues such as blank pages caused by skipped logic.

Survey analysis

Expert Report & Dashboard: Better default table built on matrix question with open input type number

License: Expert

Matrix question where all columns use a number data type input are now analyzed correctly and consistently across all report types, including Expert Report and Dashboard Table Wizard.

Dashboard: Dynamic report filter of type date changed to “range” selector

License: Dashboard extension

In Dashboard dynamic report filters, we have switched our previous “date from” and “date to” selectors to one “date range” selector, allowing report viewers to select desired dates more easily and intuitively:
