What’s New – March 2026
This month brought improvements across several areas of the platform, including UI & accessibility, survey design, distribution workflows, data analysis, dashboard performance, and automated translations.
Highlights
New UI Design Activated as Default for All Users
License: All Users

All users have been automatically switched to the new Survalyzer UI design, with a toggle still available to revert to the previous version if needed. This is the final transition period before the legacy UI is permanently retired on April 24, 2026.
AI Custom Follow-up Question on Open Comments (Beta)
License: Expert (Beta)

Survey creators can now configure open-ended questions to automatically trigger an AI-generated personalized follow-up question when a respondent’s initial answer is too brief or vague, uncovering richer qualitative insights without manual interviewer involvement.
Currently feature visible only to users with “Access to beta features” setting selected (How to Enable Beta Features)

Survey Design
Survey Layout Usage Report
License: All Users with access to layout designer

A download icon has been added to the survey layout management screen, allowing users to export an Excel file listing all surveys currently using a specific layout, including survey ID, name, and workspace ID.
Survey Distribution
Soft Bounce Filter in Reminder Distributor Wizard
License: All Users

A new filter option in the reminder distributor wizard allows targeting only members who did not receive the last email (invitation or reminder) due to a soft bounce. This enables more focused re-engagement of recipients who were technically unreachable in the previous send-out.
Survey Analysis
SPSS Raw Data import: “Will Be Deleted” Import Behavior
License: Expert

SPSS raw data exports now automatically include a “will_be_deleted” column, consistent with the existing Excel raw data import behavior. During SPSS raw data import, interviews with this column set to 1 are automatically deleted, aligning the SPSS data management workflow with the established Excel pattern.
Report Export File Pre-calculation (Caching)
License: Dashboard Extension

Report export files can now be pre-calculated and cached in the background, while online report is being opened and cached for the first time. It significantly reduces report export generation time for the first person opening the report when cached version is not present.

Interview Change Date Added as System Field
License: All Users

A new system field “Interview Change Date” is now available in various variable selectors and raw data exports. This field is especially useful for portals with follow-up ticket management feature that require tracking when ticket was last modified.
Improvements and Fixes
Dashboard Auto-Translation fixed
We’ve enhanced the dashboard auto‑translation feature to correctly handle repeated placeholders. Your multilingual dashboards should now translate consistently, even when the same placeholder appears multiple times.
Member Variables from Shared Panel from another workspace are now available to select
