Dashboard Extension (former Professional Analytics license) provides two table types: raw data tables and pivot tables.
Choose the table type based on whether you want to view individual interviews or summarize data from multiple interviews.
Raw data table
A raw data table displays the values of individual interviews. It is similar to a raw data export.
Each row represents one included interview. Each column represents a selected variable.
Use a raw data table to:
- View answers or other data from individual interviews.
- Choose which variables appear in the table.
- Apply custom filters to control which interviews are included.
You only define the columns. The table creates the rows from the interviews included by your filters.
Pivot table
A pivot table summarizes or calculates data from multiple interviews.
In a pivot table, you define both the columns and the rows:
- Columns usually contain calculated values, such as interview counts or percentage distributions.
- Rows usually contain categories, such as the answer options of a question.
Use a pivot table to:
- Count interviews.
- Calculate percentage distributions.
- Compare variables.
- Analyze data by segment.
