Download basic report

At the Activation stage of each survey, four types of reports can be downloaded:

Word report

The Word report contains an overview of all questions and answers, including the charts recorded per question and the filters specified for the corresponding survey.

Note: There is no chart for open questions unless the Response data type is validated using the Integer number or Real number criterion. Answers to open questions are usually displayed in a list without any further formatting.

Advantage:

  • This report is easily editable.

PDF report

The PDF report contains an overview of all questions and answers, including the charts recorded per question and the filters specified for the corresponding survey.

Note: There is no chart for open questions unless the Response data type is validated using the Integer number or Real number criterion. Answers to open questions are usually displayed in a list without any further formatting.

Advantages:

  • This report can be viewed without an Internet connection.
  • This report can be printed completely.

Excel report

The Excel report displays the number of participants and the response rate per status, e.g. Completed, on the first worksheet. From the second worksheet onwards, you can view the answer distribution per question. For each survey question, some statistical data are recorded, such as the total number of answers given, the number of times a certain answer option was selected, the minimum and maximum value. For worksheets with open questions (whose Response data type is NOT validated by means of the Integer number or Real number criterion), the answers provided by the respondents are displayed in the first column.

PowerPoint report

The PowerPoint report generates a PPTX file in which charts are displayed for all survey questions. The corresponding table data are displayed on separate slides. You can indicate whether open questions should be included in the report during the download.

You can edit the charts individually, once you have enabled editing. When clicking in the chart, three icons are displayed on the right:

  • The first icon allows you to add or remove chart elements, e.g. Axes.
  • The second icon allows you to set chart styles and color schemes (Colorful, Monochromatic) for your chart.
  • The third icon allows you to set graphical filters, for example, to exclude the graphical display of certain answer options.

Click here to access the Add new basic report screen from where this function can be initiated as well.
