According to GDPR, Survalyzer stores data either in the data center in Amsterdam for customers located in the European Union or in Zürich for Swiss customers.
To check where your data is located, you need to look into the browsers address when you’ve opened the admin UI.
If you see “swiss” in the data center part of the address then the data is stored in Zürich. If you see “eu”, the data is stored in Amsterdam.

The Swiss primary data center is called “Switzerland North”, the secondary which is used for disaster recovery is called “Switzerland West”.
The EU primary data center is called “West Europe”, the secondary which is used for disaster recovery is called “North Europe”.
In the article it is mentioned that there are services which are independent of the chosen data center. Survalyzer ensures that no customer data is transferred to data center independent services or cross data center without explicit approval of the customer.

To validate the IP-Address open a console on your local PC and ping the domains above. The IP-Addresses need to be in sync with the one stated above. If you find any deviation please notify the data protection officer on datenschutz@survalyzer.com.
