This page explains how you can export a questionnaire as a document.

A new section opens where you can configure the export settings.

You can choose between 3 different file formats. Each format and its options are now briefly presented.
Word export
Word export if you wish to use the questionnaire in an editable format for further processing in MS Word. This format is very useful for commenting, discussing and editing with external stakeholders who do not have access to Survalyzer.
Download survey options
There are two options available below the button:
- Download survey without code plan and
- Download survey including code plan
The option download survey including code plan displays every variable and its variable values.
Illustration of the export
The image on the left is an example of a simple response question type. On the right-hand side, the code plan export is visible with the variable name and variable values, i.e. in this case, you can see exactly which option includes which variable value.
The code plan is therefore very useful if you want to use the data to create a dashboard, for example, if you want to process the data in other tools, or if you want to import data from another tool into Survalyzer.
PDF export
The PDF export is structured in the same way as the Word export. The only difference is therefore the file format.
JSON Survey Definiton
JSON export is well suited for copying entire questionnaires between different accounts.
There are two options available below the button:
- Download JSON survey definition only
- Download JSON survey definition, sample/panel data and raw data as ZIP bundle
The option Download JSON survey definition, sample/panel data and raw data as ZIP bundle also exports the raw data and report formats to a ZIP file. Please note: This file can be very large and should only be used in exceptional cases and if you know exactly what you are doing.
